Back in 2018, was anyone asking for another legal conference? Absolutely not. 

In fact, there were a lot of great conferences focusing on legal and trial skills…

But most firm owners were struggling to grow their practices when it came to everything else: marketing, leadership, hiring, culture, and what it takes to build a great practice that stands the test of time. 

They were walking away from events with little to show for it, having sat through information delivery without engaging fully, energizing themselves, or enacting any significant change in their law firms or their lives.

After attending dozens of other industry conferences, we came away with one clear conclusion: the bar needed to be raised.

Enter the Game Changers Summit.

As 2019 rolled around, word spread about how we were growing practices through marketing, leadership, hiring and culture. As a result, interest in the Game Changer Summit exploded.

What was previously a 500-person event doubled in size. This led to hosting 1,000 law firm owners at a larger venue and elevating the experience to an even greater level.

It was our opportunity to prove our concept for a legal conference wasn’t a fluke.

We hosted a full lineup of speakers that included Gloria Allred and Gary Vaynerchuk. Of course, we also gave away a few Teslas and a Ferrari California.

Additionally, the 2019 Game Changers Summit was also when Crisp became a coaching company for the industry’s most ambitious attorneys.

After a year off due to COVID, the 2021 Game Changer Summit served as the great legal industry reunion.

The gathering brought together 2,500 law firm owners — all eager to reconnect and grow amidst the severe challenges that impacted industry during the pandemic.

Thriving through adversity was the dominant theme.

Attendees received powerful insight from Malcolm Gladwell, as well as speakers such as Cy Wakeman, Gary Vaynerchuk, Tim Grover and many more.

And, yes, we gave away more Teslas, as well as a Rolls-Royce Ghost to our first-ever winner of the Crisp Effect Challenge.

The 2021 event also marked the debut of the Crisp Training Center (with a VIP party) at Crisp’s new headquarters in Atlanta. 

In 2022, due to such rapid growth of the Game Changers Summit, we secured a first-of-its-kind venue for a legal conference — Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The state-of-the-art, immersive experience drew 5,000 attendees who learned how to attract capital, multiply market presence, and turn their practice into a lucrative legal services business.

Speakers included Kevin O’Leary, David Goggins, Laura Wasser, John Morgan, Arnold Schwarzenegger and more.

Just like the year before, another private VIP party was held at Crisp headquarters.

We gave away a couple more Teslas and a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen. Plus, another Crisp Effect Challenge winner took home CEO Michael Mogill's own Tesla Model S Plaid.

Attendees were also treated to a private concert with Grammy award-winning group Boyz II Men.

In true Crisp fashion, the 2022 Game Changers Summit was like nothing the legal industry had seen before.

Making the Crisp Game Changers Summit exclusive to Crisp Coach members allowed us to tailor the content and speakers specifically to the needs of the audience.

During previous Summits, a significant portion of the attendees had been new to Crisp, which necessitated bringing them up to speed on our background and philosophy. This reduced the time available for actionable takeaways.

By making the event private, we ensured that only the industry’s highest caliber leaders — individuals with elite-level drive and determination to be the best — were in attendance. This allowed us to deliver a more focused, advanced level of content, specifically tailored to the experiences of the attorneys present.

The event was a value-add for those committed to being members of the Crisp community.
